Research at Riboxx
The fields of research at Riboxx encompass molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, and structural biology. Our previous work (1999-2002) dealt with the diagnosis of tumors using tumor-specific antigens such as survivin.
Our ongoing research efforts focus on the structural and functional dissection of the multi-enzymatic complexes involved in replication of viral genomes. This work has been started within the consortium VIZIER (EU-Project, FP-6) and will be pursued further in the coming years.
Riboxx is also partner in the recently FP7-founded project SILVER as well as the EU project EUVIRNA
Intellectual property
The IP portfolio of Riboxx relates mainly to three fields of inventions:
- RNA/siRNA/miRNA synthesis and analytics
- Biocatalysis of chemically modified RNA/siRNA/miRNA
- An innovative and new class of IN VIVO siRNA
The IP portfolio of Riboxx includes ten international patent families as well as many brands among them Riboxx®, RNA interference in a box®, IBONI®, IVORI®, ENOVA®, CONTRAmir® and CONmir®.
