Jacques Rohayem, Chief Executive Officer

Jacques Rohayem is the founder of Riboxx and its CEO. Mr Rohayem was a group leader and senior researcher at the Dresden University of Technology in Saxony, Germany. He has developed and patented the new technology that constitutes the core of the Riboxx know-how, and he has more than ten years experience in the fields of life science and biotechnology. He holds a doctorate in medicine from the Dresden University of Technology (Germany) and a Masters Degree in Biotechnology from University of Franche-Comté (France), a Bachelor of Science in Biostatistics from University of Paris VI (France) and an Executive MBA from the University of Potsdam (Germany). Carola Schaue, Head of controlling and finance

Carola Schaue has a degree in economics and controlling from the University of Freiberg (Germany). Carola Schaue has more than 14 years of experience in controlling and finance in renowned companies such as Bosch Telecom GmbH or Prettl Electronics AG. Her past responsibilities in the field of finance and controlling gave her a deep understanding of management issues in strategic controlling.

 

Christiane Petzold, Head of Production

Christiane Petzold is the head of production at Riboxx. She joined the team in its early days. Christiane is also responsible as quality manager for the Integrated Management System at Riboxx. She holds a diploma in chemistry and a PhD in organic chemistry from the Friedrich-Schiller University of Jena. From 2007 to 2008 she did postdoctoral research on a supramolecular kinesin model at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland  (UK) in the group of Prof. David A. Leigh.

Jan Zimmermann, Head of Analytics

Jan Zimmermann is head of analytics and also responsible for issues in oligonucleotide synthesis, protocol development and separation techniques. He holds a diploma in chemistry and a doctorate in bioorganic chemistry from the Ruhr-University of Bochum. His postdoctoral research in Bochum (Prof. Günter von Kiedrowski) and Groningen (Prof. Andreas Herrmann) was focused on branched and modified oligonucleotides, DNA nanotechnology and nucleic acid block copolymers.
